Details

This fuel tester allows fuel to be poured back into the fuel tank during preflight checks without fear of water contamination. A special separator screen, when coated with avgas, forms a barrier to water and debris while allowing avgas to pass. It also detects jet fuel in the event of inadvertent fueling. Pilots can help protect the environment by pouring sample fuel back into the tank rather than onto the ground.
